Job Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeping Manager to oversee our financial recordkeeping while also supporting day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both doing the work and leading a small team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily bookkeeping operations across multiple accounts/entities
- Perform hands-on bookkeeping tasks, including transaction entry, reconciliations, and reporting
- Review and ensure accuracy of work completed by bookkeepers
- Train, support, and manage a team of bookkeepers (including VAs, if applicable)
- Develop and maintain clear processes and documentation for financial workflows
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Coordinate with leadership on financial reporting, budgets, and insights
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, efficiency, and organization
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting (3+ years preferred)
- Experience managing or supervising others strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in bookkeeping QuickBooks online
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience preferred with real estate and family entertainment domains, but not required
