Summary

This role supports BottleDrop operations by assisting with key operational, administrative, training and project-based responsibilities.
Additional Details
  • This is a Monday - Friday position with some local travel required and possible overnight travel.
  • A company car will be provided when traveling is required.
  • A company cellphone will be provided

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • In coordination with BottleDrop Operations Manager and Area Operations Supervisor, identify training opportunities and implement training plans to improve FOH & BOH operations.
  • Monitor and track new hire training progress ensuring all required training is completed within established timelines.
  • Ensuring that all monthly and quarterly inspections and audits are completed and filed correctly.
  • Support with cash audits, weekly cash tracking, and research of cash variances when needed.
  • Assist with end of month/end of year cash reporting.
  • Maintain current SOP’s and help develop future SOP’s.
  • Help with monthly and quarterly ordering.
  • Assist with new center openings, attending recruitment events.
  • Serve as a note taker during conference calls.
  • Contribute to the training and development of a new site supervisor.
  • Act as an informational contact.
  • Communicate with other departments within OBRC as needed.
  • Perform the functions of a Supervisor or Retail Lead as needed.
  • Perform the functions of a BottleDrop Team Member as needed.
  • Load and unload items using power/manual pallet jacks.
  • Adhere to proper personal protective equipment (PPE) standards, such as wearing safety glasses, use of hearing and hand protection, and wearing high visibility clothing when required
  • Adhere to all OSHA Safety Standards and OBRC policies such as Lock Out Tag Out.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years’ BottleDrop experience or its equivalent.
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred


Requirements – Skills, Job Knowledge & Abilities

  • Cash handling experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate professionally at all levels with internal and external business partners.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work and travel to all BottleDrop Redemption Centers within the state.
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs.
  • A valid driver's license and acceptable driving history are required.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check as part of the pre-employment process.

Supervisory Responsibility
  • This position may occasionally assume limited supervisory responsibilities based on operational needs.

Travel
  • Frequent local travel and some out-of-the-area travel as needed.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

  • Work indoors and outdoors as needed in various temperatures/conditions.
  • Exposure to industrial equipment with moving mechanical parts, vibration, sharp objects and cleaning products.
  • Occasional exposure to odors of empty beverage containers.
  • Noise levels in designated areas require the use of approved hearing protection.
  • Must be able to frequently lift/carry up to 30lbs.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Push/pull 50+ lbs. frequently (wheeled bag racks).
  • Talking and hearing is frequently required.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to stand and walk.
  • Must be able to bend/stoop/crouch/squat.
  • Must be able to use arms/wrists/hands/grasp.
  • Must be able to occasionally climb and balance.
  • Sit when driving to worksites.
