Box Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Box Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation operations ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. This position requires strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Act as back up driver.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule transportation activities for shipments, ensuring optimal routes and timely deliveries.
• Utilize GPS monitor vehicle locations and provide real-time updates.
• Analyze transportation data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments
• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
• Assist in transportation planning by forecasting needs and adjusting schedules as necessary.

Experience

• Proven experience in a Box Truck Driver or similar position within the logistics or transportation industry.
• Familiarity with Freight transportation management systems and tools
• Ability to analyze data effectively to make informed decisions.
• Proficient in using GPS technology for route optimization.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
