Position Overview:
We are seeking a research-driven scriptwriter to create compelling, factual, and engaging scripts for our boxing-focused YouTube channel. This is a remote role ideal for writers who have a strong grasp of boxing history, personalities, and culture, and who can transform complex research into captivating, documentary-style scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research historical and current boxing events, athletes, and controversies from credible sources
• Write clear, engaging, and emotionally resonant scripts for YouTube videos (8–15 minutes in length)
• Create narrative arcs that captivate sports audiences while staying true to facts
• Collaborate with producers and editors to align scripts with visual storytelling needs
• Adapt tone and style to fit a documentary or sports storytelling format

Requirements:

• Portfolio of previous work in sports writing, preferably boxing-related content (YouTube scripts, articles, or video essays)
• Proven experience in scriptwriting for YouTube, digital media, or sports/documentary formats
• Educational background in Journalism, Creative Writing, Film, or Sports Media
• Strong storytelling ability with a talent for crafting compelling narratives from real-life events
• Solid understanding of boxing terminology, rules, culture, and iconic personalities
• Ability to conduct deep and accurate research to ensure factual accuracy
• Excellent grammar, clarity, and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and respond to feedback collaboratively
