Key Responsibilities

• Manage delinquent accounts and proactively work on aging receivables for both patient and insurance balances.
• Resubmit charges with supporting documentation for medical necessity and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Appeal outstanding denials from insurance carriers and follow up until resolution.
• Retrieve and reconcile Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) from payer portals, ensuring accurate posting of payments.
• Identify and communicate denial trends to improve processes.
• Enter charges and payments within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Coordinate with providers to clarify incomplete information for proper claim adjudication.
• Correct, complete, and process claims efficiently.
• Perform follow-ups with insurance companies on unpaid accounts using aging reports.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
• Handle multiple communication channels (Calls, Emails, Chats & Faxes) with professionalism.
• Maintain documentation and protocols for all tasks performed.
• Take on additional duties as assigned, contributing to team success.

Requirements

• Strong communication and writing skills, with active listening ability.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Computer literacy and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer support or documentation.
• Flexibility, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Qualification: A Levels / Graduation or above.
• Candidates with a Medical Billing background will be preferred.
