Director of International Business (China Headquarters)

Core Objective:

Responsible for the development and maintenance of B2B channels for Fengri Group's full range of battery products (Lead-acid, Lithium, and Sodium batteries) in the Pakistani market. Focus on exploring local partners in the motorcycle/automotive starting battery and energy storage sectors, achieving sales targets, and increasing the brand's market share.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Development & Channel Building

  • Conduct in-depth research on the Pakistani battery market, particularly B2B customer needs in Punjab Province and the Lahore area (e.g., battery distributors, auto parts wholesalers, electric vehicle assemblers, inverter manufacturers).
  • Establish and expand a network of core distributors at the provincial and regional levels. Drive penetration of the existing lead-acid battery market while introducing new applications for Lithium/Sodium batteries locally.

2. Sales Execution & Customer Management

  • Develop and execute annual sales plans to achieve sales volume and collection targets. Manage the entire sales process from business negotiation and contract signing to shipment coordination.
  • Maintain long-term customer relationships, handle after-sales issues, increase repurchase rates, and build customer loyalty.

3. Market Intelligence & Feedback

  • Collect information on competitor activities, price fluctuations, policy changes, and customer feedback in the Pakistani market. Provide timely product improvement suggestions to the headquarters (e.g., battery performance optimization for high-temperature environments).
  • Assist headquarters in formulating suitable local pricing strategies and promotional plans.

4. Brand Promotion

  • Organize and participate in local industry exhibitions and technical seminars to demonstrate the technical advantages of Fengri products (e.g., Lithium battery cycle life, Sodium battery low-temperature performance) to B2B clients.
  • Establish Fengri's professional brand image within Pakistan's auto parts and new energy sectors.

Qualification:

1. Education

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Marketing, International Trade, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

2. Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the battery or auto parts industry, with at least 3 years specifically focused on the Pakistani market.
  • Familiarity with Lead-acid battery products (especially Motorcycle/Automotive Starting Batteries), their market landscape, and distribution channels.
  • Experience selling Lithium or Sodium batteries is a plus; understanding their technical characteristics and applications is preferred.
  • Possession of established B2B customer resources in Lahore and Punjab Province (e.g., battery wholesalers, auto parts chain stores, OEM factories) is highly preferred.

3. Professional Skills:

  • Proficient in international trade processes (e.g., Letters of Credit, customs clearance, logistics coordination), capable of independently managing order execution.
  • Excellent business negotiation skills and cross-cultural communication abilities to build trust with diverse clients.

4. Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in English and Urdu (written and spoken), able to communicate effectively with headquarters and local clients.
  • Knowledge of Chinese is a plus for easier coordination with the China office.

5. Personal Attributes:

  • Results-oriented, with the drive and resilience to develop markets from the ground up.
  • Ability to travel frequently within Pakistan; familiar with local business culture and religious customs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently residing in Lahore, with a strong understanding of the local business environment and networks.
  • Previous sales experience with well-known battery companies (e.g., Exide, GS Battery, Atlas Battery) or in the auto parts industry, possessing direct competitor client resources.
  • Strong interest in new energy products (Lithium/Sodium batteries) with the ability to quickly learn technical knowledge.
