Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Costing Officer / Costing Executive to support order-wise costing and pricing operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy across materials, labor, embellishments, and production inputs while preserving the brand’s luxury positioning and craftsmanship excellence.

This role is ideal for professionals with 2–3 years of experience in couture or luxury fashion environments who possess strong analytical skills and a structured approach to cost management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate per-order / per-outfit costing for custom bridal and groom wear as well as limited collections.
• Calculate and verify costs of fabrics, embellishments, accessories, handwork, tailoring, finishing, and overhead allocations.
• Track labor hours (karigars, tailors, and handwork teams) and assign costs accordingly.
• Coordinate closely with relevant departments to ensure accurate cost inputs.
• Maintain structured costing sheets, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and order-level profitability records.
• Support pricing decisions by assisting in quotation preparation and margin analysis.
• Monitor and report variances between estimated and actual costs per order.
• Identify cost-efficiency opportunities without compromising couture quality or brand standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Sound understanding of couture construction and bridal handwork processes.
• Working knowledge of order-wise costing and margin calculations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and costing templates.
• High numerical accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong coordination and communication abilities.
• Organized, disciplined, and deadline-oriented approach.

Qualifications & Experience

• CMA or relevant qualification.
• 02–03 years of relevant experience. Experience with couture, luxury or retail fashion brands will be preferred.
