Branch Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate branch-level financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to head office.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring daily cash reconciliation and timely bank deposits.
  • Support inventory management through monthly stock reconciliations and cost tracking.
  • Monitor branch expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and flag unusual variances.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, internal policies, and financial controls.
  • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments in coordination with procurement and operations teams.
  • Manage customer accounts, monitor credit limits, and follow up on overdue balances.
  • Assist in internal/external audits and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
  • Coordinate closely with the branch manager and head office finance team for budgeting and forecasting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs25,000.00 - Rs35,000.00 per month

  • FMCG: 1 year (Required)
