Position Summary:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Branch. Support and execute the organizational sales strategy to achieve sales goals and increase sales activities while maintaining profitability. Ensure customers receive the highest level of customer service and uphold the GWB brand.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversees all branch operations including sales, warehouse and delivery to drive business results.
- Recruit, train, develop and retain a high performing team of employees. Clearly communicate job expectations and foster a work environment that optimizes performance and results.
- Analyze data and trends to make precise decisions on profitable business opportunities, ensuring the branch's success.
- Utilize advertising budgets and manufacturer incentives to effectively market GWB and SCC to both internal and external customers. Devise and implement a robust marketing strategy for the branch including sales promotions, maintaining strong relationships with vendors..
- Conduct sales training sessions to ensure the team has a deep understanding of market conditions, customers, and competitors. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Optimize product offerings to drive profitable market share growth and financial performance. Set competitive pricing based on market conditions, product availability, and quality, providing customers with affordable yet competitive options.
- Utilize sales agreements as a tool for business growth, approving quotes, developing focused marketing accounts, and following up with the outside territory manager's assigned accounts.
- Effectively manage credit and collection activities, resolving credit issues promptly and identifying and correcting consistent problem areas.
- Build strong work relationships with staff to maintain exceptional customer service and a positive, team-oriented branch environment. •
- Perform any other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the branch.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of successful business management experience at a branch or other individual profit center, with profit and loss responsibility
- Five or more years of experience in business management and/or operational management with increasingly progressive job scope and responsibilities
- Minimum of three years of retail/store management experience in the HVAC/Plumbing/Refrigeration industry
- 1+ years of supervisory experience and proven sales and customer service success
- Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective leadership, motivational, organizational and communication skills
- Solid understanding of P&L management to ensure business plans are achieved
Physical Demands:
- Occasional lifting may be required up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
- May engage in bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching, pushing and pulling of merchandise, products and materials
- Consistently follows procedures and adheres to standards
- Must be able to understand and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form and follow directions

- Ability to understand product codes and terminology
- Ability to analyze and use operational information to create positive actions and results
- Maintains thorough knowledge of market trends and conditions
Working Conditions:
Must work as part of a team in an open office area with noise and distractions. May go into the warehouse which may be hot or cold depending on the outdoor temperature. Will travel to customer locations and job sites.
