We are Hiring for Branch Manager

Experience

10 –15 years in Freight Forwarding / Logistics / Customs Clearance, with minimum 5+ years as a Branch Manager with P&L responsibility.

Location- Mumbai

Industry: Freight forwarding mandatory

Qualification

MBA / PGDM in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management (preferred)

Summary

The role will be responsible for leading and overseeing all Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance operations across the region. The role is expected to drive business growth, enhance operational efficiency, strengthen market presence, ensure compliance and effective risk mitigation, and promote a collaborative and high-performance work culture.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

Operational Excellence:

* Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of Mumbai covering freight forwarding, customs clearance.

* Optimize processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.

Procurement and Vendor Management:

* Develop and maintain relationships with shipping lines, airlines, and other logistics partners.

Financial Management:

* Handle profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities the region

* Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses

* Manage AR/AP efficiently

Business Development and Network Expansion:

* Collaborate with network partners, agents, and clients to identify growth opportunities.

* Explore new markets, develop business strategies, and expand our customer base and Represent Logistics at industry events and conferences.

Customer Retention :

* Develop lasting relationships with Customers, reinforcing the Brand and equity Logistics & regular customer engagement.

* Work towards Customer Delight and increase the customer confidence in Branch

Team Leadership and Compliance:

* Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of professionals across various functions.

* Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

* Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.

Essential Skills

* Strong expertise in Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance

* Proven ability to manage P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.

* Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing and developing cross-functional teams.
