ŌKAWA is looking for an experienced and accountable Cafe Supervisor to manage our day-to-day front-of-house (FOH) operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to coach a team to success, we encourage you to apply!


What You Will Do (Role Summary)


As a Cafe Supervisor, you will be the key to operational excellence, ensuring a smooth, profitable, and high-quality guest experience. Your core responsibilities include:


  • Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations, including standard opening and closing procedures, ensuring the cafe is clean, tidy, and set up to standards.
  • Team Management & Coaching: Schedule FOH employees to meet service requirements while achieving labor cost targets. Provide proper coaching, feedback, and recognition, and manage attendance and performance-related issues.
  • Quality & Standards: Implement quality service to achieve sales and profitability targets. Enforce company policies, rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Guest Focus: Handle guest complaints according to standard procedures, recording all feedback to prevent similar issues.
  • Inventory & Maintenance: Inspect stocks, supplies, equipment, and work stations using checklists. Report and follow up on any maintenance issues with the Manager On Duty (MOD).


What You Will Bring (Prerequisites)


We are looking for a candidate who is driven, hands-on, and meets the following criteria:

  • Experience & Education: A minimum of 2 years' experience in the hospitality industry , with at least 1 year in a junior management position . A Hospitality diploma or Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution is required.
  • Core Skills: Strong administration skills and excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Personal Attributes: Must be flexible, punctual, and accountable . You should be self-motivated and possess ideal training and coaching skills.
