Restaurant Branch Manager

Job Summary:

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of

the branch, ensuring smooth service, excellent customer experience, staff

supervision, and efficient reporting. This role focuses on customer

satisfaction, staff discipline, sales growth, and operational reporting.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision & Scheduling:

Ø Organize and supervise the shifts of service, cashier, and

housekeeping staff.

Ø Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to achieve service and

performance goals.

Ø Prepare daily checklists and monthly duty rosters.

Ø Conduct daily staff briefings on grooming, hygiene, and service

standards.

Ø Ensure all closing duties of staff are completed properly.

Ø Ensure staff is punctual, in proper uniform, and disciplined.

Ø Resolve staff disputes and take disciplinary action where required, as

per company policy.

Operational Oversight:

Ø Ensure the branch opens and closes on time.

Ø Maintain service quality, billing accuracy, and customer satisfaction

as per HG standards.

Ø Keep the branch clean, hygienic, and safe at all times.

Ø Prevent wastage of materials and supplies.

Ø Maintain adequate stock and avoid shortages

Guest Service & Relationship Management:

Ø Ensure every customer is greeted politely and served promptly.

Ø Handle complaints professionally and report serious cases to HO.

Ø Collect and forward customer feedback.

Ø Enhance service quality through proactive customer engagement.

Ø Maintain knowledge of in-house services and promotions to assist

guests.

Cleanliness & Maintenance:

Ø Ensure the dining area, counters, and washrooms are clean and

hygienic.

Ø Monitor housekeeping and sanitation schedules.

Ø Report any maintenance or repair needs to HO.

Inventory Control (Service Related):

Ø Submission of monthly inventory of all FOH items including eating

utensils and assets.

Ø Monitor service-related stock items (packaging, supplies, and

cleaning items).

Ø Prevent wastage and ensure availability of necessary supplies.

Ø Maintain accurate record-keeping and assist with audits.

Sales & Business Development:

Ø Support sales growth through quality service, upselling, and

promotions.

Ø Monitor competitor practices and suggest improvements.

Ø Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

Ø Maintain accurate cash, POS, and billing records.

Ø Deposit daily sales to the company account without delay.

Ø Keep petty cash and branch expenses within approved limits .

.Reporting & Communication:

Ø Send daily reports on sales, stock, attendance, and expenses to HO.

Ø Report any operational or staff issues immediately.

Ø Respond to all calls, messages, and instructions from HO without

delay.

Ø Coordinate with the kitchen team only for smooth food service.
