IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
The Group Director Cloud & Enterprise Data Network (EDN) Services is a mission-critical leadership role responsible for architecting and operationalizing future-ready cloud and enterprise network infrastructure that enables business scalability, resilience, and regulatory integrity across PTCL Group.
This role bridges strategic direction with hands-on execution, ensuring robust, compliant, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure platforms that underpin digital transformation, cross-entity integration, customer delivery, and operational excellence. Acting as a key advisor to senior technology and business leaders, the incumbent ensures compliance with national regulations, industry standards, and internal governance while delivering next-generation cloud and network capabilities aligned with enterprise growth priorities. The role is also accountable for enabling B2B service delivery through timely execution of cloud and EDN infrastructure projects, safeguarding enterprise SLAs, and supporting revenue protection in close coordination with the B2B function.
HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT
1. Cloud Strategy, Architecture & Execution

Define and implement the Group’s hybrid/multi-cloud strategy, ensuring agility, resilience, and alignment with digital enablement goals.

Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of secure, high-performing cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) across VMware, Red Hat OCP, and private cloud environments.

Oversee lifecycle management and modernization of legacy platforms, disaster recovery readiness, and tenant-specific governance models.

Establish cost control frameworks, consumption optimization, and performance SLAs aligned with enterprise KPIs.
2. Enterprise Data Network (EDN) Services & Infrastructure Enablement
-
Lead the design, modernization, and service continuity of PTCL Group’s EDN and Data Center network services, including SD-WAN, MPLS, Cisco ACI, IP Core, and site connectivity.

Ensure high availability, low-latency, and secure interconnectivity across corporate locations, commercial data centers, and business units.

Drive transition from legacy to software-defined and intelligent networking architectures to improve service agility and reduce OPEX.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams for seamless migrations, capacity planning, and integration of enterprise workloads.
3. Security, Compliance & Infrastructure Governance

Embed proactive security measures within network and cloud layers including segmentation, firewalling, encryption, and zero-trust protocols.

Lead infrastructure compliance with ISO 27001/27017/27018, PCI-DSS, PTA, and LEA requirements, including lawful interception and data retention frameworks.

Drive structured audit readiness, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident resolution across infrastructure assets.
4. Public Cloud & EDN Enablement for B2B Services

Ensure cloud and EDN infrastructure readiness to support enterprise and wholesale service requirements in coordination with the B2B function.

Oversee cloud and network project delivery for B2B deployments, ensuring SLA compliance, uptime, and seamless service continuity.

Collaborate with solution design, B2B, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and revenue-critical cloud and EDN capabilities.

Safeguard cloud performance and availability for high value B2B services, enabling differentiated customer experiences and revenue protection.
5. Regulatory Engagement & Certification Readiness

Serve as the focal point for LEA/PTA and regulatory bodies on all infrastructure, security, and compliance matters.

Establish internal compliance controls, governance routines, and formal stakeholder interfaces to ensure transparency and alignment with certification bodies.

Lead renewal processes and continuous assurance efforts for ISO and other critical regulatory frameworks.
6. Operational Performance & Service Excellence

Define, monitor, and optimize KPIs for availability, resilience, scalability, and compliance across all cloud and network services.

Deploy observability tools, automation platforms, and AI-driven analytics to proactively monitor infrastructure health and reduce MTTR.

Institutionalize change management, incident management, and service continuity protocols across Group-wide IT operations.
7. Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

Act as a strategic advisor to GVP and executive stakeholders, translating enterprise goals into infrastructure roadmaps and investment cases.

Influence cross-functional technology, business, and compliance teams to deliver unified infrastructure and platform outcomes.

Represent cloud and EDN strategy in executive forums, steering committees, and Group-level digital programs.
8. Talent Development & Capability Building
-
Lead and mentor high-performance teams of network engineers, cloud architects, and infrastructure specialists.

Foster a performance-driven culture that promotes technical depth, knowledge sharing, agile delivery, and leadership bench strength.

Embed learning, certifications, and internal capability-building initiatives to keep pace with evolving technology landscapes.
9. Financial Control & Vendor Governance

Develop and manage CAPEX/OPEX budgets aligned with infrastructure roadmaps and service delivery needs.

Negotiate and govern third-party contracts, SLAs, and vendor performance, ensuring commercial efficiency and strategic alignment.

Monitor cloud/network consumption trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain financial accountability.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Telecommunications (required)

Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or Business (preferred)
Experience:
-
Relevant experience
in IT infrastructure, enterprise networking, and cloud computing across large-scale, multi-entity environments.

Relevant in senior leadership roles
, with full accountability for designing, deploying, and governing hybrid/multi-cloud architectures and enterprise network services.

Proven track record in
cloud modernization
, including migration from legacy to VMware, Red Hat OCP, or similar platforms, and managing cloud-native workloads (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

Demonstrated success in
end-to-end cloud strategy execution
, from architecture to operations, including security, cost optimization, and service delivery.

Experience leading
regulatory-compliant IT infrastructure programs
, including ISO, PTA/LEA, and PCI-DSS-aligned deployments.

Strong expertise in
integrating cloud and network environments
