About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Brand Ambassador Business Development Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in building a new Cannabis Distribution Network across the 5 New York boroughs and Farmingdale, Long Island. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position requires developing and executing a robust strategic business plan to drive growth, ensure compliance, and foster strong relationships in the competitive cannabis industry.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a multifaceted role that demands versatility, encompassing brand ambassadorship, business development, marketing, sales, social media management, compliance oversight, inventory control, logistics and delivery management, and exceptional customer service. Key Obligations

  • Brand Ambassador: Represent the company as the face of our brand, promoting our products and values at events, pop-ups, and through various channels.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand our distribution network.
  • Marketing: Create and execute marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Sales: Drive revenue through direct sales efforts and relationship management.
  • Social Media: Manage and grow our online presence to connect with customers and partners.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to State and local regulations.
  • Inventory: Oversee stock levels to support efficient and compliant operations.
  • Logistics and Delivery: Coordinate the transportation and delivery of cannabis products to ensure secure, timely, and compliant distribution.
  • Customer Service: Deliver outstanding support to clients and resolve issues promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales through targeted strategies, including managing day-to-day sales within your accounts and distribution network while ensuring full compliance with State and local laws.
  • Organize and execute pop-up events to promote products and engage potential customers.
  • Conduct cold calling and warm calling to generate leads and build partnerships.
  • Collect outstanding invoices and manage accounts receivable efficiently.
  • Develop and implement high-quality business strategies and plans that align with short-term and long-term company objectives.
  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to uphold the company’s legality and business ethics.
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, competitors, and the overall cannabis landscape to inform decision-making.
  • Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures that support the company’s goals.
  • Oversee daily operations of assigned accounts to ensure smooth performance.
  • Manage time and resources effectively to maximize productivity and dedication.
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in marketing activities to boost brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Manage relationships with partners and accounts in your designated area.
  • Ensure personal and team performance growth through continuous development.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in the cannabis industry and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed accurately and monitor ongoing compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Implement operational policies and procedures to deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Develop and execute business strategies to attract and onboard new customers.
  • Oversee inventory management to enable efficient, compliant day-to-day operations.
  • Remain informed about changes in cannabis legislation and ensure the company maintains full compliance.
  • Coordinate logistics for the transportation and delivery of cannabis products, including scheduling and routing.
  • Manage delivery operations to ensure products are transported securely, tracked accurately, and delivered on time while adhering to New York State cannabis regulations.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize risks associated with product handling and distribution.
  • Monitor and report on delivery performance metrics, addressing any issues related to delays, damages, or compliance violations promptly.
  • Participate in additional duties as needed to support overall business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or brand ambassadorship, preferably in the cannabis or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of the cannabis market, including regulations, trends, and compliance requirements in New York State, with specific knowledge of logistics and delivery protocols.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing tools.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret metrics, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain management, or delivery operations is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
  • Willingness to travel within New York State for events, meetings, client visits, and oversight of delivery operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Must be 21 years of age and in compliance with state cannabis regulations.
