Brand and Media Lead

The Role
Company Overview This role is advertised under MENA Assistance and operates at MMC Group level. MMC Group is a founder-led, medium-sized group of companies operating across automotive services and technology. The Group is strengthening its internal brand and media capability to support structured growth, digital presence, and clear market positioning across its portfolio of businesses. Awesome Media Productions functions as the Group’s internal brand and media arm. Role Overview We are seeking a Brand & Media Lead to take ownership of brand positioning, digital presence, and media strategy across the Group’s operating companies. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role that combines strategic direction with operational execution. The successful candidate will work directly with senior leadership and will be accountable for building and structuring the Group’s internal brand and media capability. This role requires ownership, independent thinking, and disciplined delivery. Key Responsibilities • Define and refine brand positioning and messaging frameworks across Group entities • Develop and formalise tone of voice and brand guidelines • Audit existing websites and digital presence • Lead website rebuild and digital development initiatives from concept through launch • Develop structured media strategies aligned with business objectives • Establish content pillars and 90-day media roadmaps • Ensure visual and narrative consistency across digital platforms • Build and manage internal media resources, including hiring and developing a small team • Implement clear timelines, accountability frameworks, and performance tracking • Provide structured reporting to senior leadership on progress and impact

Requirements
Experience • 5 years of experience in brand, communications, or media leadership roles • Demonstrated experience building, repositioning, or strengthening brands within operating businesses • Proven experience leading website or digital transformation initiatives • Experience managing and developing teams • Experience working within founder-led or growth-stage organisations is preferred Education & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field • Postgraduate qualification or professional certification in brand, digital strategy, or communications is advantageous Key Attributes • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability • Commercial awareness and outcome-driven mindset • Structured, organised, and disciplined in delivery • Confidence working with senior leadership • Ability to take ownership and operate independently • High standards of quality and brand discipline This role reports to the Founder & CEO.
