Food People are looking for a passionate and creative Brand Head Chef to take charge of the culinary direction for a leading casual dining brand. This is a hands-on role focused on innovation, consistency, and operational excellence across multiple outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the culinary operations across all sites, ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Lead and inspire a team of chefs through structured training and development programs.
- Design and implement kitchen SOPs for prep, service, hygiene, and food safety.
- Manage food cost and wastage effectively while maintaining high quality standards.
- Develop seasonal and trend-led menu items that reflect the brand's identity and meet market demand.
- Conduct regular competitor and market analysis to ensure brand relevancy and innovation.
- Work closely with Operations and Marketing to support new product launches and menu rollouts.
- Ensure all kitchens are audit-ready and aligned with brand guidelines and health standards.
- Be an active presence in the kitchen - leading from the front, mentoring team members, and maintaining high morale.

- Proven experience in a senior culinary role within a multi-site casual dining concept.
- A natural leader with strong mentoring and coaching skills.
- Deep understanding of kitchen systems, inventory management, food costing, and supplier coordination.
- Creative flair with a strong sense of current food trends, local tastes, and competitive offerings.
- Hands-on and highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience building kitchen SOPs and scaling operations.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, HR, Marketing, and Supply Chain.
