JOB SUMMARY

The Brand Manager – Brand Manager is responsible for the overall brand performance, operational excellence, financial growth, and strategic positioning within the Client ecosystem.

This role oversees retail, gifting, flower, cake, and chocolate operations, internal hotel activations, event partnerships, and revenue expansion opportunities. The Brand Manager ensures consistent brand storytelling, premium service standards, and strong financial results while leading the team toward operational and commercial excellence.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Brand Leadership & Positioning

  • Maintain OPUS luxury identity within Client location
  • Ensure consistent brand storytelling across retail, events & collaborations
  • Align visual standards with premium hospitality expectations
  • Protect brand integrity in packaging, uniforms, and presentation
  • Act as brand ambassador during VIP visits and hotel engagements

2. Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Drive monthly and annual revenue targets
  • Identify new revenue streams within Client Location (events, corporate gifting, room décor, weddings, Ramadan, festive activations)
  • Develop bundle offerings (flowers + cake + chocolate + custom packaging)
  • Introduce seasonal premium collections
  • Monitor Average Order Value (AOV) growth strategy
  • Collaborate with client sales team for internal event monopoly opportunities

3. Retail & Operational Oversight

  • Supervise daily operations (opening to closing)
  • Ensure SOP compliance across retail and production
  • Monitor order accuracy and quality control
  • Oversee delivery coordination and premium doorstep presentation
  • Implement operational audits and corrective action plans

4. Financial & KPI Management

  • Prepare monthly P&L review
  • Monitor COGS (flowers, chocolate, cake ingredients)
  • Control wastage and shrinkage
  • Track labour cost vs revenue ratio
  • Implement margin improvement initiatives
  • Forecast seasonal demand and manpower planning

5. Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Personally handle high-value and VIP guests
  • Develop luxury selling training modules
  • Monitor guest feedback & complaint resolution
  • Ensure emotional selling approach is applied by team
  • Build repeat clientele database

6. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead Retail Supervisors, Florists, Production, Sales Executives
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews
  • Implement training calendar (minimum 2 trainings per month)
  • Develop succession pipeline
  • Drive performance culture linked to KPIs

7. Marketing & Brand Activation

  • Coordinate with marketing team for campaigns
  • Plan festive themes and visual merchandising strategy
  • Develop influencer & hotel collaboration ideas
  • Execute internal hotel activations (lobby displays, VIP suites décor)
  • Monitor social media alignment with brand tone

8. Inventory & Supply Chain Control

  • Approve procurement cycles
  • Monitor fast & slow-moving SKUs
  • Reduce flower and perishable wastage
  • Conduct monthly stock audit
  • Maintain vendor relationship standards

DAILY / WEEKLY WORKFLOW

  • Morning operational review & sales briefing
  • Revenue target alignment
  • Quality check on production & packaging
  • Coordination meeting with ERTH operations
  • Sales tracking & upselling monitoring
  • Weekly financial dashboard review
  • Monthly strategy & performance meeting
