Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with any guest inquiries.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using Toast.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and preparation.
• Assist with cash handling and basic math calculations for guest checks.

Skills

• Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Experience with Toast or similar reservation systems is a plus.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and check processing.
• Knowledge of culinary practices, including food preparation techniques and safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
