Breakfast Server

<Responsibilities>

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using openTable or similar reservation systems
• Take accurate breakfast orders, communicate effectively with kitchen staff, and ensure timely food delivery
• Handle food and beverage transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Support food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards for presentation and taste
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering a welcoming environment

<Skills>

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for efficient order processing
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or breakfast settings
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Experience with host/hostess duties, bussing, or serving in nightclubs or hospitality venues is a plus
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
• Familiarity with OpenTable reservation system is advantageous
• Kitchen experience or culinary background helps in understanding food preparation standards
