Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Building Construction Estimator & Procurement Manager to support pre-construction and procurement activities for building construction projects. This role involves quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, vendor coordination, and procurement management.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in construction estimating, material takeoffs, and subcontractor/vendor buyout processes, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Review project drawings and specifications to prepare complete quantity takeoffs for all construction activities
• Prepare bills of materials with accurate quantities required for each project
• Develop detailed scopes of work for various construction activities
• Reach out to vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes for materials and services
• Analyze and compare vendor and subcontractor quotes to support pricing and procurement decisions
• Negotiate pricing and support materials and subcontract buyout processes
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and subcontract agreements
• Obtain product data and specification sheets for submission to architects/engineers for approval prior to procurement

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating and procurement for building construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction practices, processes, and cost estimation methods
• Proficiency in:
• Bluebeam
• AutoCAD 3D / Revit
• MS Project
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
• Strong organizational skills and attention to deadlines

Work Location

This is an onsite position located in DHA Phase 6, Karachi. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office everyday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs185,000.00 - Rs235,000.00 per month
