Building Maintenance Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities through effective maintenance practices. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and strong leadership abilities to oversee maintenance operations and provide exceptional customer service.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs and installations.
• Interpret schematics to diagnose issues and implement solutions effectively.
• Manage facilities maintenance tasks including residential painting, repairs, and general upkeep.
• Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure equipment is maintained in optimal condition.

Experience

• Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field is required.
• Strong electrical experience is essential; familiarity with ohmmeters is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
• Prior supervisory experience in a maintenance role is preferred.
• Excellent command of English for effective communication with team members and customers.
• Experience in facilities maintenance, including residential painting and general repairs.
