EECTRICAL SWITCHGEAR TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a skilled and experienced(Minimum 2 years) Electrical Switchgear Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of electrical switchgear systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair LV, MV, and HV switchgear and associated equipment.
• Perform insulation resistance, contact resistance, and primary/secondary injection tests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in switchgear systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Conduct routine maintenance and preventative checks on electrical panels and circuit breakers.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians for efficient project execution.
• Maintain records of inspections, test results, and service reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, codes, and standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
• Use specialized tools and testing equipment such as multimeters, meggers, and circuit analyzers.
• Experience:
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in switchgear installation and maintenance.
