Auto Electrician

Job Title: Auto Electrician – Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (EVs) car

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical and electronic systems in hybrid and electric vehicles.
• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, charging systems, battery packs, sensors, and control units.
• Perform battery diagnostics and replacement for EV and hybrid vehicles.
• Work with high-voltage (HV) systems safely, including battery disconnection and isolation procedures.
• Use specialized diagnostic tools and software to identify issues in electric drive systems, inverters, and controllers.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of EV electrical components.
• Keep accurate service and repair records using workshop management software.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other technicians and apprentices.
• Stay updated with new technologies and procedures in the EV and hybrid automotive industry.
