Job Description

  • Perform general repair and maintenance tasks in residential villas and buildings.
  • Conduct minor carpentry work such as repairing doors, door frames, hinges, locks, handles, and wooden partitions.
  • Carry out small-scale masonry tasks including plaster patching, tile replacement, crack repairs, and flooring work.
  • Perform basic plumbing tasks such as fixing leaking taps and pipes, replacing washers, valves, shower mixers, hand sprays, water pumps, float valves, water tanks, and clearing drainage blockages.
  • Execute basic electrical tasks including replacing light fixtures, switches, sockets, pulling cables/wires, cable termination, and basic DB panel testing.
  • Perform minor welding jobs as required for repair and maintenance.
  • Assist with gypsum works including metal framing, channel installation, board fixing, and minor ceiling repairs.
  • Carry out surface preparation, painting, and polishing tasks; handle paint mixing, patch repairs, and touch-up work.
  • Assist in erection and dismantling of scaffolding, shuttering, and formwork when needed.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of proven experience in general maintenance and handyman work.
  • Age between 27–35 years.
  • Basic working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, and painting.
  • Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for various repair tasks.
  • Ability to read basic technical instructions and follow maintenance procedures.
  • Physically fit and able to work in indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of working independently and within a team setting.
