- Support the Building Consultancy team to meet its objectives.
- Coordinate and correspond with the client or their representatives from the project kick-off phase through the submission of the associated report in accordance with the client requirement and within timeframe agreed to.
- Verify and ensure that the client has provided the necessary documents for conducting the assessment.
- Coordinate, schedule and perform the site inspections of the properties in collaboration with the contractors or property owners.
- Provide prompt assistance to the client with any concerns that may arise, even subsequent to the submission of the reports.
- Perform asset tagging and asset register creation as directed by the senior team.
- Undertake self-directed learning to increase knowledge base on construction activities and Building Surveying services.
- Undertake workshops and training given by the departments senior team.
- Conduct desktop survey research about sites, site inspection on assets that are under construction, at handover and during the building life cycle.
- Assist in creating in-depth technical reports on the building condition assessment, CAPEX forecasting, Reserve Fund Studies, Insurance valuations, project progress, etc.
- Carry out measurement of as-built AutoCAD/pdf drawings based on the requirement.
- Assisting with the co-ordination of portfolio instructions and undertaking other duties from time to time as may be reasonably required
- Keeping your knowledge up to date with building and sustainability standards, legal knowledge, and building pathology.
Expected to travel within the country based on the project requirement.
