To drive RTA vehicles, to provide an efficient, effective, quality bus service in accordance with safety requirements and Maintenance and Services Department procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the buses in all depots between the reception offices and the workshops as well as external workshops, and carry out road tests for all the buses.
• Provide assistance for Roadside Assistance Technical Team.
• Transfer all required spare parts and equipment to the agencies/suppliers and depots.
• Drive sewerage tanker to collect sewerage water from Depots, as per schedule to ensure sewage is removed, transported and disposed of according to Dubai Municipality policies and procedures.
• Perform scheduled cleaning, safety and maintenance checks for both operations and storage buses including wheel rolling, fueling, washing, test drive, moving and parking.
• Operate all heavy vehicles in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
• Report to the supervisor any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
• Perform other responsibilities related to the position as appropriate.
• Verify that the vehicle has safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, first aid box, emergency door function, glass breaking hammer, and up-to-date vehicle registration certificate copy.
• Ensure vehicle equipment is safely operated and in good condition.
• Carry out daily routine checks, such as tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, fuel, oil level, radiator coolant level, A/C, and cleanliness of the bus external and internal.
• Strictly adhere to RTA Information Security policies, procedures, and processes.
• Strictly follow the Information Security data sharing guidelines for all internal and external data transfers.
• Immediately report any Information Security incidents to your line manager and IT support for prompt guidance and resolution.
• Actively participate in all assigned Information Security training and awareness sessions to enhance knowledge and address potential Information Security risks.
• Always comply with instructions and guidance provided by your line manager in line with Information Security requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Primary School or equivalent.
• Skills: Fluent in English reading, writing and speaking. Arabic will be an advantage.
• Experience: 0-2 years of working experience.
• Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
• Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Must hold a valid UAE heavy bus Driving License.
