Position Overview

We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead growth initiatives within our interior fit-out division in the UAE. The role is responsible for securing new projects, building long-term client partnerships, and driving revenue in line with company objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong industry network, proven sales success, and the ability to manage the full business development lifecycle from lead generation to project award.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Development

· Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives.

· Identify, evaluate, and secure high-value fit-out projects across commercial, hospitality, retail, and residential sectors.

· Build a robust pipeline of opportunities through strategic networking and market intelligence.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with developers, consultants, architects, and key decision-makers.

· Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.

· Position the company as a preferred fit-out partner through value-driven engagement.

Tendering & Proposal Management

· Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals in coordination with internal teams.

· Review tender documents, scope of work, and project specifications to ensure competitiveness.

· Ensure timely and compliant submission of bids.

Contract Negotiation & Closure

· Lead negotiations on commercial and contractual terms.

· Secure project awards while ensuring alignment with company margins and risk policies.

· Manage client expectations and facilitate smooth project handover to operations teams.

Market Intelligence & Industry Positioning

· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects.

· Identify strategic opportunities to enhance market presence and brand positioning.

· Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking platforms.

Internal Collaboration

· Work closely with estimation, design, procurement, and project teams for successful project acquisition.

· Provide market feedback to management for strategic decision-making.

· Mentor and guide junior business development team members where applicable.

Performance & Reporting

· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

· Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.

· Report on performance metrics, risks, and opportunities to senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (MBA is an advantage).

· 5–10 years of UAE experience in business development within interior fit-out or construction.

· Strong existing network with developers, consultants, and clients in the UAE market.

· Proven track record of securing projects and achieving sales targets.

· In-depth understanding of fit-out project lifecycle, tendering, and commercial processes.

· Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

· UAE driving license is mandatory.
