RISE TO THE CHALLENGE

Philip Morris KSA Trading Company is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be part of the Data Insights & Analytics team, reporting to the Head of Business Partnership MENA.

Senior Business Analyst role will lead the management of complex business and ad hoc requirements through advanced data products and analytics solutions.

This role involves functional design, overseeing product testing, leveraging sophisticated business modelling and situation analysis to drive significant improvements and efficiencies. Role holder will act as a key liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that business needs are met and that analytics solutions deliver maximum value to the organization.

YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’

• Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure their requirements are met through facilitating workshops and meetings to gather input and feedback, especially in commercial cycles (OB, RF, Performance Review, Quarterly Business Review…)
• Perform strategic analysis of complex business situations to identify problems and opportunities. Conduct in-depth root cause analysis and recommend actionable, strategic improvements.
• Gather, document, and manage business and ad hoc requirements. Ensure alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
• Create detailed functional specifications and design documents for new systems and enhancements, ensuring they meet high-level business requirements.
• Design and implement sophisticated data products and analytics solutions to support strategic business decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional team to ensure business models are based on rigorous data analysis.
• Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure product quality and functionality and lead defect resolution efforts in collaboration with development teams.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive business models representing processes, roles, data, and organizational structures and utilize these models to communicate insights and propose strategic scenarios for improvement.
• Collaborate with teams of Data Analysts and Data Scientists to ensure data-driven recommendations are based on comprehensive and robust analysis.
• Mentor and guide junior business analysts within the team, providing expertise and support.
• Identify and drive opportunities for process improvements based on in-depth data analysis.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• KSA National
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Engineering or any relevant discipline.
• 5-10 years of experience in data analysis, data governance, commercial planning & reporting or financial planning preferably within a FMCG organization or data consultancy firms
• English & Arabic language Proficiency (Both written & spoken)
• Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) certification or any other data analytics/AI analytics certification is an advantage
• Solid stakeholder management and the ability to influence across functions
• Data driven with ability to commit to deliverables within critical timelines
