Job Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing team in Istanbul. This role will report to the Business Analyst Lead, and will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into clear technical specifications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving digital banking products and core banking processes, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and customer-centric delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with relevant business units to analyze their needs and translate them into clear, structured requirements for processes and systems related to products such as credit, payments, accounts, and digital channels.
• Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.
• Design, execute, and manage test cases; support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Analyze existing processes and suggest improvements for efficiency, compliance, or customer experience.
• Identifies detailed business requirements and process models to ensure the viability of technical designs and fulfillment of business and technical needs and constraints.
• Act as a key bridge between business units and technical teams, ensuring alignment on goals and deliverables.
• Monitor and evaluate implemented solutions to ensure business value and continued alignment with strategic objectives.
• Monitor and support new releases, including e-mail communication, to respond to feedback, resolve issues and approve software rollout.
• Prepare and deliver documentation including user manuals, release notes, and training materials.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis in the banking sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Retail Banking, Commercial Loans, Loan Processes, Digital Channels (Mobile Banking), Accounting, Corebanking.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies, SDLC, and software development practices.
• Hands-on experience in tools like JIRA, Confluence, BPM tools (e.g., Visio, Draw.io), and SQL is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and understanding of backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release management.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong team player who can work effectively across departments.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
