Job Description Senior Business Analyst with Product Owner Experience

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong Product Owner PO experience to work closely with stakeholders business teams and development squads The role demands a blend of business analysis product ownership stakeholder management and agile delivery expertise to ensure product success

Key Responsibilities

Act as a bridge between business stakeholders product management and technical teams to elicit analyze and document requirements

Perform end to end Business Analysis activities including requirement gathering gap analysis process mapping and solution validation

Own and maintain the Product Backlog ensuring it is clearly defined prioritized and aligned with business goals

Define Epics Features and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria to guide development teams

Collaborate with cross functional teams design development QA DevOps to deliver high quality product increments

Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement sprint planning and reviews

Act as a Product Owner in Agile teams making decisions on feature priorities release planning and trade offs

Engage with stakeholders to define product roadmap KPIs and success metrics

Support UAT planning execution and issue resolution

Ensure solutions meet regulatory compliance and security standards if applicable to domain

Provide mentorship to junior Business Analysts and contribute to BA best practices within the organization

Required Skills Experience

10 years of overall experience with at least 3 years as a Product Owner or in a PO like capacity

Proven track record as a Senior Business Analyst working on large scale complex projects

Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum frameworks and experience in managing backlogs

Proficiency in creating BRDs FRDs process flows user stories and acceptance criteria

Excellent stakeholder management communication and negotiation skills

Ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables and vice versa

Hands on experience with tools such as JIRA Confluence Azure DevOps or Rally

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail

Exposure to data driven decision making and product performance tracking

Domain expertise in Financial Services Telecom domain

Experience with UX UI design collaboration and Knowledge of APIs integrations and data flows
