Role Overview

The incumbent would be a highly analytical and commercially savvy Business Analyst with a strong background in Apparels Buying & Merchandising to support the CEO in making high-impact strategic decisions. This role will focus on evaluating brand acquisition opportunities, identifying potential markets for expansion, and providing insights that align with the company’s growth vision in the retail apparel industry.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in fashion retail dynamics , consumer trends , and merchandising analytics , combined with the ability to convert complex data into actionable business recommendations.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Analysis & Market Expansion

ØConduct market research and competitive benchmarking to identify potential countries and regions for expansion.

ØEvaluate apparel brands for potential acquisition, partnership, or expansion based on financials, brand positioning, and cultural fit.

ØBuild business cases and feasibility studies for new markets, including P&L projections, risk analysis, and ROI.


Buying & Merchandising Analytics

ØAnalyze sales, margin, and inventory data to support merchandising strategies for new and existing markets.

ØProvide insights on consumer behavior, fashion trends, and category performance to influence assortment planning.

ØSupport cross-border pricing, sourcing, and supply chain impact assessments.


Decision Support for CEO

ØDevelop dashboards, reports, and presentations to support the CEO’s decision-making.

ØTranslate complex data into clear recommendations and executive summaries.

ØCollaborate closely with the CEO on strategic initiatives, providing fact-based insights on expansion and brand alignment.


Cross-functional Collaboration

ØPartner with buying, merchandising, finance, and supply chain teams to align market-entry strategies.

ØLiaise with external consultants, market research agencies, and potential brand partners.
