Payrate: $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
Summary:
The standard PPO intake team is responsible for managing provider contracts. The Business Analyst, Experienced will report to the Sr. Manager of Provider Partnerships & Network Management. In this role you will review provider contract submissions, ensure all requirements are met for contracting, communicate with providers as necessary and route agreements for processing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations
- Work cross-functionally in analyzing, designing, and developing business solutions
- Identify opportunities for improvement in operational performance and notify management of issues and problems requiring immediate attention
- Assist in defining business requirements and provide analysis to increase operational efficiency
- Review contract submissions from providers and ensure all requirements for contracting are met.
- Route contracts for processing
- Correspond with providers to obtain missing information and/or answer contracting questions.
- Manage inventory to ensure the department and individual goals are met.
- Respond to negotiation requests
- Collaborate with internal network teams to address contract needs - (negotiation push backs/ out-of-scope specialty or facility contracts)
Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of prior relevant experience
- Requires analytical and problem-solving skills
- Requires strong communication skills
- Experience reviewing and/or processing provider contracts preferred
- Experience in PIMS and CLMS is preferred
