Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will analyze business processes, create dashboards to analyze data, work on data integration across different dashboards and work with stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and process analysis
- Create detailed documentation including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process flow diagrams
- Facilitate meetings between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication
- Develop and maintain project documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Conduct data analysis to support business decisions
- Perform gap analysis between current and desired business states
- Create ad hoc dashboards to show data trend to leadership (quicksight)
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that solutions meet business requirements
- Create reports and presentations for stakeholders and management
- Assist in change management and training initiatives for new systems or processes
Expected Deliverables:
- Dashboard creation
- Dashboard integration to avoid manual data gathering
- Ad hoc queries on data gathering
- Update tool for issues tracking
Required qualifications/certifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self starter, able to problem solve and provide solution independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Quicksight, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
- Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)
- Strong stakeholder management skills

- MBA or relevant master's degree
- Professional certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar)
- Experience with business process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart)
- Knowledge of specific industry domains (finance, healthcare, retail, etc.)
- Familiarity with SQL and database concepts
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems
