Purpose and Scope: A successful Business Analyst has a strong working knowledge of radio spectrum management processes, can read and analyze product legacy product requirements to inform future product development and can build out supporting system documentation. The candidate should have strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Formulating and defining systems requirements through research and fact-finding.
• Building a comprehensive understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
• Performing analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic, as necessary.
• Developing and updating technical documentation; ensuring accuracy and completeness of the team's technical requirements repository.
• Working with stakeholders and agile team members to develop and prioritize concise and testable epics, features, and user stories.
• Translating requirements and concepts into business language (to support client review and prioritization) and technical language (to support the development teams).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years related experience.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline. With ten years of general information technology experience and at least eight years of specialized experience, a degree is not required.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst.
• Prior experience working with or for the U.S. Military and familiarity with Military acronyms and terminology
• Proven abilities to be collaborative and take initiative and be innovative. Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude. Experience with Agile methodology.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence, or other tools.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance, residing in the United States.
• Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.

Desired Qualifications:

• Federal Government contracting work experience.

Working Environment:

eSimplicity supports a remote work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by manager.

Occasional travel for training and project meetings. It is estimated to be less than 25% per year.
