Brief Job Description:
Coordinates IT SSA audit responses. Leads the TIERS Command Center following software releases. Serves as the Manage Office Resources (MOR) administrator, resolving MOR issues and acting as a subject matter expert. The above responsibilities require complex communication between multiple IT and Program areas; the BA must lead a variety of action items from inception to completion. The position demands great responsibility, experience, capability, and dedication.
Essential Job Functions (EJFs):
Attends audit-related meetings and represents IT SSA to determine required responses. Gathers artifacts needed to satisfy audits. Coordinates, provides guidance, and follows up on action items to ensure timely responses from applicable teams/individuals including other business analysts and developers. (50%)
Leads the Command Center (issue reporting venue) following software releases, including facilitation of a daily call with stakeholders until issues are resolved or resolutions are underway. Follows up on resulting action items and communicates regular updates to stakeholders. (25%)
Serves as the Manage Office Resources (MOR) administrator. Duties to include: researching user profiles, supporting the administrative structure in TIERS and performing troubleshooting functions to include resolution of MOR issues; providing consultation and direction to other areas of IT SSA and Program areas relating to TIERS Security roles or TIERS MOR for system modifications/enhancements. (15%)
Provide support as needed: production support requests; reports processing; special projects; mandatory trainings. (10%)

Initial Screening Criteria:
Preferred graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in business, communications, or IT/computer sciences. Minimum of three years of experience with the State of Texas Health and Human Services organization required, with focus on eligibility programs or systems information management. Preferred experience working professionally with a broad range of stakeholders. Preferred knowledge of State of Texas, Health and Human Services (HHS) eligibility programs. Experience working with Texas HHSC automated eligibility systems preferred. Relevant experience that exceeds the minimum requirement may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Additional Information:
This position is located in Austin, Texas. Applicants must be willing to work onsite in an Austin, TX HHS office.

The posted salary range reflects the minimum and maximum for this position allowable by state law. Any employment offer is contingent upon available budgeted funds. The offered salary will be determined in accordance with budgetary limits and the requirements of HHSC Human Resources Manual Chapter 7.
