Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales Documentation

  • Collaborate with Sales and Solutions teams to document discovery meetings, client requirements, and solution overviews.
  • Capture and document client needs, business challenges, and success criteria.
  • Prepare comprehensive Pre-Sales Documentation Packages including requirement summaries, scope outlines, and key assumptions.
  • Ensure documentation is complete and structured for seamless handoff to Project Management teams.

2. Execution-Phase Documentation

  • Develop and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
  • Document project deliverables including:
  • Use cases
  • User stories
  • Process flows
  • Technical specifications
  • API documentation
  • Conduct documentation reviews to ensure clarity and completeness before development handoff.
  • Maintain centralized documentation repositories using tools such as Confluence and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Create User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documentation, test scenarios, and validation matrices.
  • Document change requests, scope modifications, and maintain a clear audit trail.

3. Post-Sales Documentation

  • Develop comprehensive project handover documentation for client success and support teams.
  • Document system configurations, deployment details, and operational runbooks.
  • Create user manuals, training guides, and FAQ documentation for end users.
  • Ensure all as-built documentation accurately reflects the final delivered solution.
  • Develop and maintain support and maintenance documentation for ongoing projects.

4. SDLC Best Practices & Process Guidance

  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for SDLC documentation practices.
  • Establish documentation standards, templates, and guidelines across the organization.
  • Provide training and coaching to teams on requirements documentation, UAT planning, and knowledge transfer.
  • Identify gaps in documentation and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all SDLC phases including discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Project Managers, Developers, and QA teams to ensure documentation aligns with project execution.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and documentation updates across teams.
  • Support project managers in tracking project updates and documenting change requests.
  • Act as a quality advocate by ensuring specifications are complete and unambiguous before development begins.

6. Documentation Quality & Maintenance

  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, clear, structured, and easily accessible.
  • Create documentation for internal products for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop internal processes, templates, and documentation checklists.
  • Implement and maintain strong version control practices.
  • Keep documentation updated to reflect system changes post-deployment.
  • Track and measure documentation quality and completeness through defined metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience in technical documentation, business analysis, or SDLC documentation roles.
  • Strong experience creating BRD, FRD, UAT documentation, and process documentation.
  • Familiarity with documentation and collaboration tools such as Confluence, Microsoft SharePoint, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs225,000.00 per month
