Business Attorney

Newport business and corporate law firm is looking to hire an experienced business attorney for corporate and litigation support, to handle all matters related to the preparation and finalization of business documents necessary in various corporate transactions including but not limited to corporate compliance, agreements drafting, support the as well as be familiar with representation in a case from inception through resolution.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• JD from a top 20 law school per U.S. News Ranking.
• Minimum 7 years in the practice of law as a corporate/business and litigation support attorney.
• Admitted to practice in California.
• Experience with drafting and advising on corporate documents drafting.
• Experience with corporate restructuring and formation.
• Experience with drafting of various business documents.
• Experience with developing case strategy based on a proper case assessment in coordination with client’s objectives.
• Experience with client representations before different judicial forums including arbitration.
• Advise clients on various regulatory business and corporate compliance.
• Client oriented skills.
• Strong writing skills.
• Strong legal research skills.
• Self-Starter.
• Strong Team Player.

Some of the primary tasks that the corporate attorney would be responsible for are without limitation:

• Thorough initial assessment and planning including proper case factual questionnaire.
• Customizing and implementing various case options strategies.
• Managing case load and prioritizing file matters.
• Conducting thorough analysis and providing updates to clients on an on-going basis.
• Assisting the firm with any other work as needed.
