Under direction of the Director of Development (DOD), plan, organize, direct and perform complex and responsible office activities; the Development Executive is responsible for maintaining effective public, media, and community relations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain open lines of communications with all community organizations and provide prompt responses to requests to include determining how to convey clear, concise, and timely information.
- Provide communications support services and consultation to the company and its clients.
- Coordinate various events to include where to have event, whom to invite, and how to publicize as well as attend the events nationally and/or internationally to ensure the high quality of implementation and promote the company.
- Identify new opportunities that strengthen the D³ Consultants ‘brand’, enhance its image and reputation nationally and internationally, and can contribute to its revenue growth.
- Using information systems and preparing reports, dashboards and statistics for internal and external use.
- Liaise with partner institutions, other institutions, external agencies and government departments to investigate and study business opportunities.
- Organize and facilitate a variety of educational or business activities.
- Conduct marketing and/ or educational research.
- Develop and update Hard and soft copies of management filing system.
- Monitor and achieve deadlines for internal and external communication.
- Attend team meetings and provide admin support as required.
- Responsible for planning, tracking and reporting on program deliverables
- Identify new opportunities, develop new programs, seek out new partnerships and maintain community relationships.
- Coordinate and prioritize office duties and functions.
- Independently, or from general instructions, composes clear and concise correspondence.
- Attend meeting and transcribe minutes.
- Type and input from notes, rough draft or verbal instructions a variety of written materials including correspondence, bulletins, memoranda, calendars, requisitions, records, reports and evaluations; maintain associated records.
- Develop a variety of forms and processes including evaluations, personnel requisitions, purchase and work orders.
- Compile and maintain assignment records.
- Site visits to our clients aiming to train or audit employees.
- Attend team meetings and provide admin support as required.
- Screen and routes correspondence, handling routine issues independently, referring to an appropriate staff member or prioritizing for DOD's attention.
- Assist in Marketing, PR, Print, Social Media deliverables.
- Revise, produce content and edit News releases, News publications, Social Media and News Letters for D3 Consultants and Clients.
- Assist all other departments in various job tasks when assigned.
- Represent the company at various events nationally and/or internationally; interact with clients.
- Represent the DOD at professional and public events as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
