Business Development Associate

The Consulting Business Development Associate will be the face of Big4 Consulting Group in front of prospective clients and partners. This role is focused on building client relationships, generating new opportunities, and facilitating access to key decision-makers, while supporting our management consultants in converting opportunities into high-value engagements. The Associate will work at the intersection of business development, client engagement, and pre-sales, ensuring the firm strengthens its footprint across healthcare, life sciences, financial services, retail/F&B, real estate, and digital ventures in the UAE and GCC.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Business Development

  • Represent the firm in networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings.
  • Identify and engage prospective clients across priority sectors.
  • Build trust-based client relationships and act as the first point of contact for new opportunities.
  • Facilitate access to decision-makers and support consultants in shaping structured engagements.

Pre-Sales & Proposal Support

  • Collaborate with consultants on proposals, RFP responses, and pitch materials.
  • Support M&A, financial advisory, and strategy teams in preparing client-ready documents.
  • Clearly articulate the firm’s value proposition to senior executives and stakeholders.

Market Intelligence & Growth Support

  • Conduct market and competitor research to inform business development strategies.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives, campaigns, and thought leadership content.
  • Manage CRM pipeline tracking and ensure timely reporting of opportunities.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with consultants and practice leads to align BD activities with delivery capabilities.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and business development frameworks.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • MBA or Master’s degree preferred.

Experience

  • 2–4 years’ experience in business development, consulting, corporate strategy, or client engagement.
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, or investment advisory firms is a strong advantage.

Core Skills

  • Strong networking, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with executive presence.
  • Understanding of consulting services, M&A advisory, and strategic engagements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot).
  • Knowledge of AI, LLMs, and digital engagement tools to enhance business development is a plus.
  • Bilingual fluency in English & Arabic is mandatory.

Career Development

This role offers a unique pathway into consulting, client engagement, and business leadership. Associates will work directly with consulting teams and senior leadership, gaining exposure to strategy, business development, and deal-making. High performers will have the opportunity to progress to Business Development Manager, Engagement Manager, or Client Partner roles.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
