Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Research and identify potential clients or partners through market analysis, cold calling, networking events, and digital outreach to generate high-quality leads.
- Sales Support: Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies, including preparing sales pitches, presentations, proposals, and business plans to close deals and retain clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with prospects and existing clients, providing excellent customer service to ensure retention and upsell opportunities.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis, track industry trends, and analyze sales data to inform marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product development) to align business development initiatives with overall company goals and contribute to product improvements based on market feedback.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales reports, track performance metrics, and forecast revenue to support data-driven decision-making.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle CRM updates (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), manage pipelines, and assist in event coordination or partnership negotiations.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred for competitive roles.
- Experience: 1-2 years in business development, sales, customer service, or a related field. Entry-level candidates with internships or relevant coursework may qualify.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for pitching ideas and client interactions.
- Proficiency in sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Analytical mindset with experience in market research and data analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Interpersonal and networking abilities to build partnerships.
- Certifications (Optional but Beneficial): HubSpot Inbound Sales/Marketing, Google Analytics, or sales-specific credentials to enhance competitiveness.
