As a Business Development Associate, you will help strengthen Autobacs India's position as a leader in the automotive aftermarket industry.
Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through digital platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, CRM systems, and other online channels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with individual customers, business partners, and automotive communities
- Proactively follow up with leads and convert them into long-term customers
- Contribute to expanding the company’s market presence and customer base
2. Product Consultation & Customer Value Creation
- Present and recommend premium automotive aftermarket products such as body kits, suspension systems, lighting, wheels, and other accessories
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Clearly explain product features, benefits, and value to customers
- Deliver a professional and premium customer experience from initial contact through post-sales support
3. Opportunity Management & Revenue Growth
- Manage leads, customer interactions, and opportunities using CRM and digital tools
- Follow up consistently to ensure successful conversion and deal closure
- Take ownership of achieving business development and revenue targets
- Utilize digital tools and AI tools to improve efficiency and productivity
4. Client Relationship Management & Brand Representation
- Build long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals
- Provide professional after-sales support and customer service
- Coordinate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth execution
- Represent Autobacs India professionally as a premium automotive brand
5. Strategic Contribution & Business Growth Support
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and emerging business opportunities
- Provide insights to support business and growth strategies
- Collaborate with marketing and internal teams on campaigns and promotions
- Participate in automotive events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive, or related field
- 0–3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Automotive industry preferred
- Candidates with direct knowledge or experience in automotive aftermarket products such as body kits, suspension, wheels, lighting, or car modification will be strongly preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of automotive products or automotive industry is a strong advantage
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to use digital tools such as WhatsApp Business, Instagram, CRM systems, and related platforms
- Comfortable working in a modern, technology-driven environment
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
- Strong willingness to learn, grow, and develop professionally
- Passion or interest in automotive industry, business, or premium products is highly valued

Qualifications
- Strong Presentation and Presentation Skills to effectively showcase offerings and proposals
- Experience in Lead Generation and Market Research to identify new opportunities and trends

This is a full-time on-site role located in Kochi for a Business Development Associate. The role involves conducting market research, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong client relationships.
