Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Associate who can take charge of sales and business development from day one. This is a remote role, but may require in-person client meetings and deal closures when necessary.
You will work directly with the Founder & CEO and play a central role in driving revenue, building relationships, and scaling WildSattva into a recognised premium gifting brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand and cater to all target audiences, including HR heads, procurement teams, CXOs, hotels, resorts, wedding planners, educational institutions, and corporate clients.
- Identify and reach out to decision-makers through LinkedIn, email, and direct calls.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches and product presentations.
- Pitch WildSattva’s premium gifting boxes and products to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close orders, working towards monthly sales targets.
- Draft and share quotations, proposals, and follow-ups.
- Maintain CRM/Excel trackers for leads, conversations, and closures.
- Collect client feedback to refine products and offerings.
- Collaborate with the Founder & operations team to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction.
Who’s a Good Fit
- Strong interest in sales, client relations, and business development.
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven, motivated, and comfortable with startup-style fast growth.
- Prior internship or up to 2 years’ experience in sales, BD, or client-facing roles preferred.
- Organised, target-oriented, and eager to close deals.
- Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, or similar) is a plus.
- Ready to take ownership and grow with the company.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: ₹8,000–₹10,000 per month (fixed component, based on consistency and effort). Upon achieving the monthly sales target of 100 boxes, the total gross payout will be ₹25,000 (inclusive of fixed component), subject to TDS and applicable statutory deductions.
• Commission: Performance-based commission of 5% on the confirmed order value above the monthly sales target (100 boxes).
• Bonuses: Milestone-based bonuses may be awarded for significantly exceeding sales targets (monthly/quarterly).
• Probation:
- Duration: 1 month
- During the first 2 working weeks: unpaid
- During the 3rd & 4th weeks: paid only upon meeting the required probation-month standards, including:
- Minimum 45–50 boxes OR 5 qualified sample orders,
- Consistent daily outreach,
- Follow-ups & CRM updates.
- Upon successful completion of probation, salary will be confirmed and all applicable incentives will be paid.
