We are seeking an experienced Business Development – ATE & T & T&M Solutions to lead business growth in Test & Measurement (T&M) instruments and strategically cross-sell Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions. The ideal candidate will engage with R&D labs, manufacturing industries, educational institutions, and system integrators, identifying customer needs, delivering value-driven technical solutions, and managing the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to closure.
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify, pursue, and acquire new customers for Test & Measurement (T&M) instruments and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle — from lead generation and qualification to proposal creation, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Develop and maintain key customer accounts across sectors such as automotive, EV, electronics, defence, pharma, and academia.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and consistently achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Solution Selling:
- Understand customer testing requirements and recommend the most suitable T&M products and solutions.
- Collaborate with application engineers to design and deliver complete ATE systems — including hardware, software, and automation components.
- Conduct technical demonstrations, proof-of-concept trials, and deliver detailed techno-commercial presentations to customers.
Cross-Selling & Strategic Upselling:
- Analyze customer purchase patterns and identify opportunities for bundled offerings, add-ons, or ATE system upgrades.
- Promote modular tester platforms and scalable solutions for high-demand applications such as EV battery testing and PCB functional testing.
Channel & OEM Coordination:
- Coordinate with leading T&M OEMs such as Hioki, Yokogawa, Keysight, GW Instek, and Rohde & Schwarz for pricing, inventory, and technical support.
- Collaborate with premium ATE partners like Chroma and NI, as well as internal technical teams, to develop customized test solutions.
- Engage with system integrators and channel partners to expand market reach and strengthen sales networks.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with R&D heads, production managers, and procurement teams.
- Coordinate post-sales support activities including calibration services, AMC contracts, and spare part management to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Education:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics.
- MBA in Marketing or Technology Management (preferred).
Experience:
- 4–6 years of experience working with OEMs, research laboratories, or system integrators.
- Proven track record in solution selling, proposal development, and customer relationship management.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on exposure to LabVIEW, NI TestBench, or Python-based test systems (advantageous).
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols, measurement systems, and test automation processes.
- Ability to clearly articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
