Role Description:
This role will be responsible for building and leading a remote inside sales team from the ground up. You will design and implement systematic outbound sales processes including cold email and cold call campaigns to drive new leads, appointments, and sales for our bookkeeping and tax services. You will be instrumental in scaling a repeatable, predictable sales system that consistently hits key targets and supports company growth.
Key Responsibilities/Objectives:
- Build & Lead Inside Sales Team Recruit, hire, train, manage, optimize, and if necessary fire and rehire remote inside sales reps to create a high‑performing team capable of driving consistent pipeline growth.
- Design Outbound Sales Strategy & Campaigns Develop and refine cold calling and emailing sequences, scripts, cadences, and messaging based on proven outbound sales best practices.
- Drive Performance & Predictability Achieve and maintain weekly/monthly goals for lead generation, appointments set, and conversion rates establishing reliable forecasts and benchmarks.
- Optimize Sales Operations & KPIs Monitor sales metrics; diagnose performance gaps; lead continuous improvement to systems, tools, processes, and training to keep the department aligned with company growth targets.

Must‑Have Qualifications:
- Proven experience building high‑performance inside sales teams from scratch
- Demonstrated ability designing outbound cold calling and cold email campaigns
- Deep familiarity with list building, list providers, and outbound data practices
- Strong mastery of dialing systems, sequences, scripts, and KPI management
- Experience setting and managing key performance metrics and solving for gaps
- Prior success in inside sales for either Bookkeeping, Tax, or Payroll services
- Ability to present an actionable 30/60/90 day sales plan based on past results
Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications:
- Prior leadership of hybrid or fully remote inside sales teams
- Experience with CRM automation and sales engagement platforms
- Background working in scaling startups or high‑growth service firms
Pay OTE between $150,000-$200,000+ between base & bonus and depending on experience

Pay: $80,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
