Business Development Executive

Doha, Qatar

Job purpose: The Business Development Executive will support the Senior Business Development Manager in managing and developing a portfolio of Business-to-Business clients. S/he will build positive relationships and implement account plans leading to higher utilization of Apex Health services by client employees and dependents.


Main tasks and responsibilities

· Attend with the Business Development Senior Manager and/or relevant management staff to pitch products/services to target clients using company profiles, proposal, personalized sales speech, presentation and more.

· Creates account management plans for existing corporate clients and be responsible for managing and enhancing the relationship

· Engages with clients directly to identify opportunities to promote services

· Develops an understanding of client organizations functions and decision-making roles

· Liaises with other departments and business units to arrange events and tours

· Creates detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

· Leverages Apex Health marketing plan and business development unit standard operating procedure (SOP) to develop personal monthly sales plan.

· Produces monthly reports and updates client tracking and pipelines to demonstrate progress

· Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researches and analyzes sales options.

· Identifies medical tourism agencies to promote medical tourism in all business units.

· Works closely with the senior manager to identify and manage risks and improve B2B sales performance.

· Maintains regular contact with customers and key decision makers.

· Builds and leverages both new and established client relationships.

· Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.


Education requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in business management / or equivalent relevant degree (Required).


Experience:

· Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development or Account Management in a healthcare organization.

· Minimum 2 years in GCC (preferred).


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of healthcare industry.
  • Skilled in Marketing Management, Business Development Management and Commercial Operations Management.
  • Good understanding of legal services (Preferred).
  • Excellent (English) written and verbal communication.
