Business Development Executive

Job Title: Business Development Executive

WITH (MARINE INDUSTRY) EXPERIENCE

Location: Doha, Qatar
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive to support sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a similar industry, with a strong ability to convert leads into long-term customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research and prospecting
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and partnerships
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets (revenue, volume, and margins)
  • Maintain and update sales pipeline and opportunities in CRM systems
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals successfully
  • Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
  • Prepare sales reports and performance analysis
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, QHSSE, and ISO standards

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of sales and revenue targets
  • Lead conversion rate
  • Customer response and satisfaction levels
  • Accuracy of CRM/ERP data and reporting
  • Timely completion of assigned tasks
  • Effective resolution of customer issues

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field
  • Master’s Degree is an advantage

Experience:

  • 6–8 years of experience in sales or business development
  • Minimum 3–4 years in logistics, freight forwarding, or related industry preferred
  • MARINE industry experience

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Results-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales
  • Professional sales or business development certifications
  • Strong industry network and client base
