Business Development Executive (Field Sales) – EdTech
Location: Ahmedabad
Salary: ₹60,000 – ₹70,000 per month (CTC)
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and result-driven Business Development Executive (Field Sales) to join our EdTech team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will excel at building relationships with schools, institutions, and educational partners, driving product adoption, and meeting sales targets through on-ground engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, visit, and onboard schools, institutes, and coaching centers for EdTech product adoption.
- Conduct product demos, presentations, and counselling sessions for educators, management, and decision-makers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Meet weekly and monthly revenue and lead-generation targets.
- Develop an understanding of customer needs and recommend appropriate EdTech solutions.
- Track field activity through CRM and provide regular reporting on visits and closures.
- Participate in local marketing activities, events, seminars, and educational fairs.
- Work closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, customer success) for smooth client onboarding and retention.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Any stream).
- 1–4 years of field sales / BDE experience (EdTech experience preferred).
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel within Ahmedabad and surrounding areas.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and basic MS Office.
