Role of a Business Development Executive
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify potential customers through research, cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Reach out to prospects via calls, emails, and meetings.
2. Market Research
- Study industry trends, competitors, and customer behavior.
- Gather insights to support sales strategies and product improvements.
- Identify new business opportunities within assigned territories or segments.
3. Sales Support
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
- Assist in drafting quotes, tenders, and relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth deal closures.
4. Relationship Management
- Build rapport with potential clients and maintain positive relationships.
- Provide timely customer support and ensure high satisfaction.
- Maintain good communication with existing accounts for up-selling/cross-selling.
5. Reporting
- Update lead information and track progress.
- Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports on outreach and conversions.
- Communicate insights, challenges, and feedback to senior management.
6. Meeting Targets
- Work toward monthly/quarterly lead, meeting, and revenue-related.
- Support the sales team in achieving overall business goals.

Required Qualifications
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development (optional but preferred).
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in sales/business development
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
