Business Development Executive - Diagnostics

Role Purpose

To support the growth of the Diagnostics division by engaging with insurance companies, hospitals, clinics, and corporates to generate leads, onboard clients, and secure contracts for lab-testing services. The role will focus on frontline business development activities, relationship building, and execution of initiatives that expand the lab’s client base and revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and approach new potential clients including clinics, hospitals, insurance providers, and corporates.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Support negotiations for service agreements and pricing under guidance of BD Manager.
  • Follow up on proposals, tenders, and client queries to ensure timely closures.

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Act as a point of contact for day-to-day client communications and escalations.
  • Support in contract renewals and documentation.

Market Research & Reporting

  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify business opportunities.
  • Maintain updated pipeline reports, sales trackers, and performance dashboards.
  • Provide weekly/monthly updates to the BD Manager on activities and outcomes.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations and RCM teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams on campaigns, materials, and events to support BD activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, insurance, or medical services.
  • Familiarity with the UAE healthcare ecosystem (insurance companies, clinics, hospitals) is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles with target achievement track record.

  • Self-motivated with ability to work under supervision as well as independently.
  • Organized, with good follow-up and reporting discipline.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED8,500.00 per month
