Role Purpose
To support the growth of the Diagnostics division by engaging with insurance companies, hospitals, clinics, and corporates to generate leads, onboard clients, and secure contracts for lab-testing services. The role will focus on frontline business development activities, relationship building, and execution of initiatives that expand the lab’s client base and revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and approach new potential clients including clinics, hospitals, insurance providers, and corporates.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Support negotiations for service agreements and pricing under guidance of BD Manager.
- Follow up on proposals, tenders, and client queries to ensure timely closures.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
- Act as a point of contact for day-to-day client communications and escalations.
- Support in contract renewals and documentation.
Market Research & Reporting
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify business opportunities.
- Maintain updated pipeline reports, sales trackers, and performance dashboards.
- Provide weekly/monthly updates to the BD Manager on activities and outcomes.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations and RCM teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Coordinate with marketing teams on campaigns, materials, and events to support BD activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, insurance, or medical services.
- Familiarity with the UAE healthcare ecosystem (insurance companies, clinics, hospitals) is an advantage.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles with target achievement track record.
