Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive (Distribution) will be responsible for expanding the brand’s market presence by developing and managing distribution channels, onboarding new retailers/wholesalers, and ensuring effective product availability across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in wholesale, retail, and distribution networks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
- Expand the brand’s footprint in local and regional markets.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
- Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure timely product availability and deliveries.
- Monitor distributor performance and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Negotiate pricing, margins, and agreements with partners.
- Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and branding at retail outlets.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities in coordination with the marketing team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field.
- 2–4 years of experience in sales/distribution, preferably in textile or fashion industry.
- Strong knowledge of local market and distribution channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel frequently.
